asp.NET Web Developer Freelancer Needed

Bwired Studios is currently looking for an ASP.NET developer. We have a number of new and exciting projects and we’re particularly interested in a developer that is able to work as a freelancer from home, within Kitchener - Waterloo.

Experience & skills required:

  • Ideally 4 years+ web development experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft ASP.Net using C#, in addition VB.net will be highly regarded
  • Experience using Umbraco CMS.
  • .NET 3.0/3.5
  • Excellent communication skills, good team player
  • Visual Studio 2010/2008
  • Good XHTML knowledge and understanding of web standards.
  • Good understanding OOP.
  • Transact SQL knowledge essential
  • Working knowledge of HTML, javascript & CSS
  • Individual must be willing to learn and be self-motivated

Sales & Client Services Representative

Bwired Studios is looking for an an Honest, Highly Motivated and High Energy sales and business development individual. As a salesperson you will contact potential clients for new sales, present the products and services, and most importantly…close the sale! In addition, it will also be necessary to think strategically and aid in the business development. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who is looking for more than just a job.  You will be trained to be well versed with our product offerings and our proven sales processes, to ensure your success at Bwired.

Your work will include:

  • Prospecting  and client education:
    • Prospecting and approaching new clients
    • Attending local business networking events
    • Entering, tracking, and following up with leads using customer relationship management (CRM)
    • Reporting to the General Manager on the status of leads and conversions

       

  • Quoting and proposals:
    • Analyzing the needs of potential and existing clients and providing solutions that best fit their business needs
    • Proposal writing and request for proposal (RFP) responses
    • Estimating and quoting a variety of web-based projects

       

  • Sales-closing and project scheduling:
    • Closing sales and scheduling projects (contract signings)
    •  Presenting the scope of projects to the Director of Online Development, and briefing the web development and internet marketing team on project requirements

       

  • Ongoing client relationship management:
    • Maintaining ongoing client relationships
    • Performing post-production customer satisfaction surveys
    • Offering additional services to existing clients

To qualify for this position, you should be able demonstrate:

  • Experience in  sales and/or customer service
  • A strong understanding of the internet and related technologies and terminology
  • Enthusiasm and passion for developing new relationships
  • Confidence in prospecting, cold-calling and approaching new clients
  • An ability to educate and persuade
  • An ability to be resilient in the face of rejection
  • Organizational and time management skills (including an ability to stay away from non-work-related social activity during work hours, especially when working independently)
  • Results-driven focus and self-motivation
  • Proficiency in web-based applications and standard office software (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent customer service, oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Reliable transportation and a valid Ontario driver’s license (driving to sales meetings and networking events will be required)
